Slump day

Anyone else ever get to the midpoint of the week feeling so far behind on everything that it’s got to be all uphill from here? No, just me? Okay, then.

Anyway, not a lot written today.

Side note: I love spring bulbs. And I’m absolutely tickled that these have decided to naturalize in the lawn.

  1. I try and mow around the bulbs that pop up here and there in the grass … not that a lot is happening at the moment.

    • Hooray for bulb preservation!

My husband does the mowing, but he doesn’t usually start until after the bulbs have stopped blooming and the violets have started. And he doesn’t tend to mow around the violets. 🙂

  2. You have to ask? And I’m doing the same with our dwarf peach tree. First it flowered along the bottom, then leaves sprung up all over. I’m hoping they survive the crazy windstorm of today.

    • Yeah, okay, I know it’s always uphill for you. But you are making progress!

      Good luck with the winds!
