Return of the shoe diva

blue high topsWhen I was younger, I loved shopping for shoes. I could walk into any store, find the cutest things in 6-1/2, and walk out happy. And I frequently did. Any more, not so much.

But this means that when I take my daughter shoe shopping, I am not surprised that she enjoys it. Even when it’s hard to find things in her size. So a chunk of the day was spent finding her new sneakers (which she has to have for gym class) and sandals. I’d say that I envision hours spent in shoe stores when she gets to be a teen, but honestly, I’m pretty sure we’re already spending over an hour on this.

Did get words today, too. Happy with this.

Hope you’re all having a good weekend!

  1. Excellent words! We tried shoe shopping today but were thwarted by the sale and the crowds. Will try again tomorrow. You guys made out with a cute pair!

    • Was there a sale? That explains it. The parking lot was jammed as we came in.

She’s at that in-between stage, about a 4-1/2. Of course, the shoe store only stocked full sizes for most styles, and 5’s are next to impossible to find. 😛 Was very pleased to find something she liked! Also got her a pair of sandals.

      Good luck with your outing!
