Onward

crowsMore sleep last night, but still behind on average. Mostly, that means I didn’t do anything today besides write and pick up the sick son from school. I did get my words in, though!

No exercise because I was about to when the school called, and with one thing and another and making Jell-O and all, I just never got back to it. I’ll count it as a day of rest. That’s fair, right?

  1. That’s a lot of birds. Do people feed them, or were the pickings just particularly good that day?

    • Every now and then, we just get hundreds of them. Someone had hit a deer a couple streets over, but it wouldn’t have fed all of them (and most if it is still there).

Sometimes, there’s even more than that down by the library/cemetery/river in the late afternoon. No idea why, but they are loud!

      • That’s rather cool, actually. Reminds me of the hundreds of black bodies in the skies around the church I went to as a child. Except I think those were bats, not birds. But I could be wrong, and they were both. Anyway, neat!
