Onward, little words

A lot of watching the weather today. School district canceled after-school activities because of “impending inclement weather,” so I kept check the forecast and watching the skies. Saw a few flakes of snow. No ice. And now it’s raining, which will melt what snow we did get this past weekend. My kids are going to be very bummed in the morning.

If I keep working at it, I might get my average to 2k/day by the end of the month. Just keep writing, right?

Perhaps the possibility of a delay will outweigh the disappointment of disappearing snow. Our actual delay certainly helped morning moods around here.

Nice word count for the day!

It’s very weird. I heard the rain. My husband heard the rain. Yet there is still snow out there, as patchy as it has been.

And yes, the kids are happy about the delay. And about their mom offering to make eggs for breakfast.

Thank you — I’m rather pleased with the word count!

Fantastic persistence considering the day :). Congrats on making the 2k.

Heh. I’m posting so late, you’re not seeing them in a timely fashion. The 2k were Tuesday’s words. But thank you!
