Onward, ever onward

If I’ve set things up right, this post should cross-post both to my LiveJournal account and my DreamWidth account (in addition to the various social media accounts). (LJ users, there’s been a bit of a gap as I dealt with setting up DreamWidth. My apologies for the missing posts.)

Today has involved much indexing and laundering and a little writing. Also cooking and adjudicating children’s use of the Xbox and a fair number of shows on Netflix absorbed second-hand because my husband has been watching them across the room.

  1. What do you use to crosspost to Dreamwidth? And my that’s a busy day :).

    • Well, first I used Livejournal Crossposter. Evidently, any site that uses the LJ API can be plugged into it. But that only allows for cross-posting to one site.

So this weekend, I installed … I think it’s NextScript? Same deal — you enter Dreamwidth as a Livejournal site — but you can set up multiple accounts to post to.

      • Cool. I’ll have to look into it. I use JetPack now, but it doesn’t do DreamWidth, and I’d like to try connecting with it again, the way I used to with LiveJournal.

        Thanks.

        • I use Jetpack for Facebook, Tumblr, and Google+. I use WP to Twitter mostly because I started using it before Jetpack had all the Publicize features.
