Nice :). My only request is that you identify the start point. The page loads and it starts scrolling the pictures before I can see them. Going back is an endless loop so I have to guess. Putting a “start here” message would help.
I like the nature (can’t come up with the right word) of the story so we’re seeing the current but also how the current comes to be.
My browser takes a minute to start the Javascript, so I hadn’t realized that would be a problem. I poked around, and Automattic seems to have no intention of adding a toggle to disable autoplay, more’s the pity. (They closed the ticket on Github, saying that there was no desire at the present to add more functions.)
In future, I will add a caption to the first one. Meanwhile, yes, Ashe is right about the first one in this group.
It’s kind of fun doing flashbacks and backstory! 🙂
Cute! I think the beginning is “Very well, short-whiskers, I will help.” But yes, in future posts, a “start here” image would be nice because it does begin scrolling before it completely loads.

Thank you! Yes, you’re right, that’s where it starts. As I told Margaret, I will try to caption the first one in future installments.
Love the story. Love the drawings. 🙂
Thanks, Widders!
Oooh. More!
I love the drawing of the bluejay.
I wasn’t terribly happy with my illustrations of the jay mid-flight, but I think the others came out much better than I expected. 🙂
