Happy Winds-Day!

This was a productive day on the work front, and I felt mostly good about it until it started to fall apart β€” running errands, I was late to meet our daughter’s bus (fortunately, awesome bus driver sat in front of house and waited for me! And told me not to be sorry because daughter was safe and warm); then had to get son who hadn’t grabbed a jacket this morning so was getting a bit wind burned waiting for me (no permanent damage, and I’ll double-check that he has his jacket tomorrow); then I forgot daughter had Brownies tonight, so she was twenty minutes late…

And I’m still feeling like maybe I’m not a good fit for the responsibility because I want to make sure I’m comfortable with everything and sure it’s all in place before moving, and someone else keeps charging ahead because “someone needed to do this.” So why should I bother?

Then there’s Scrivener, which does not seem to want to sync properly. Even though I only have it open on one machine at a time and sync before closing, it keeps generating conflict folders. Lingering effects of the Dropbox issues, I’m sure, and hopefully, I’ll get it straightened out soon. If necessary, I’ll move it out of the sync folder on my desktop so there’s only the one copy, make sure it’s gone from the iPad, then put it back.

Anyway, enough grumbling. I’ll just be grateful today for work accomp, for kids home safe and sound, for meeting attended (if late), for Papa John’s delivery (all pizzas were 50% off for online orders!), and for some words eventually carved out.

      Thanks.

The title is actually a line from Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day.

I hope today is awesome. Of course, the first thing on my schedule after getting the kids off to school is a trip to the dentist, so who knows? ?
