Happy spring!

Well, happier for some of us than others, I suppose. Woke up this morning to snow on the ground and wintry mix falling from the sky. Also, the toddler brought home a cold from daycare, so now both her brother and I are coughing, too.

On the plus side: spring bulbs, blooming!

  1. I think it’s entirely appropriate that after the last day of winter was sunny and beautiful, the first day of spring should be cold and snowy. 😀

There was snow on Saturday. There was snow on Sunday. There was snow this morning. More later this week. Happy Spring!! The daffodils are blooming, anyway. Welcome to Spring in Nevada.

    • I thought you told me you had spring in February! 😉

Glad the daffodils are blooming. You can never have too many daffodils!

We had Spring-like weather (60+) in January. We sprouted lots and lots of leaves, too. We had snow in February. No flowers until right before the snows in March.

  4. Lovely! Spring bulbs are my favourite flowers. In my garden in Toronto I had hundreds. Made me happy every day seeing some piece of colour open up.

    • My favorites are daffodils, but I love all spring bulbs, too. I’m just hoping now that the snow today and tomorrow doesn’t discourage them from blooming!

      The garden sounds lovely!
