Catching up by falling behind

I really am going to get all these extra things off my to-do list. But there are only so many hours in a day, which means that if I have to run a couple errands outside the house during the middle of the day, and I’ve got a project I promised to finish up last week (finishing touches tomorrow morning, really!), I just can’t get to everything. So I let a couple things fall further behind to try to get these other things off the plate, which will then leave me playing catch up on them — but if I have fewer items to do overall, maybe I’ll hit a balance at some point. We’ll see.

I love those books that all other books have to wait to be read for. If that makes sense. Lovely word count to boot!

      Makes complete sense!

Me, I just grabbed the latest Humble Bundle today, and now I’m suffering from the delicious paralysis of trying to decide what to read first!

And thanks. The word count wasn’t as high as I wanted, but it’s still much better than I had been managing.
