A very good end to the week.
The tree guys came — got here before the scheduled time and were friendly, professional, and efficient. And now we don’t have to worry about a dead walnut tree falling on our house in a windstorm. (Not that the kids are happy at changing the status quo, but they are kids.)
Did some more freelance work and for a change, didn’t feel like tearing my hair out at things the authors had done.
And wrote!

Tree pictures!
Yay for the tree guys!
Yay for the words! (I think those deserve a double yay, to be honest.)
Thank you, thank you, thank you very much. 🙂
Did the walnut tree give you walnuts? Will you replace it?
Yay on the words!
When we first moved in (a dozen years ago), it bore walnuts, but the squirrels tended to run off with them before I knew they were ready. It’s been a few years now since we had to check the lawn for discarded walnut husks before mowing.
We will put in a new tree, but I don’t know if it will be a walnut tree. Might go for another maple, or maybe beech or hickory.
