Happy birthday, Mom!

Lilies of the valley

White coral bells / upon a slender stalk

Happy birthday to the woman without whom I wouldn’t be here. I love you, and I hope your day has been fabulous!

P.S. I took part in SF Signal’s latest Mind Meld, so pop over and see why I think the movie for The Princess Bride is better than the book. Amusingly, I was not alone in this thought.

It was! But, I will still reread the book about once a year or so. And, I do have the DVD. I liked the making of the movie segment where they show The Dread Pirate Roberts and Indigo Montoya practicing the dueling scenes. So much better than Errol Flynn and Basil Rathbone. My opinion, of course.

I believe your mom baked bread and read various mysteries she has going. Must have mass markets for meals. Too easy to ruin a hard back around food.

    Loved the white coral bells.

    YYY

    • That sounds like a lovely birthday!
